Two themed pop-ups for the next days

Eminem opened a spaghetti pop-up

The rapper has announced the launch of “Mom’s Spaghetti,” a pop-up diner and merchandise store that has now opened in Detroit to support the launch of his latest album Revival.

The name, of course, comes from one of the best-known lyrics of “Lose Yourself” from his 2002 film 8 Mile: “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy / There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.” But he’s doubling down on the homage, locating the shop at Detroit’s Shelter club, which also ties in with 8 Mile.

Star Wars-themed pop-up bar in three cities

Star Wars fans are drooling over The DarkSide bar, which is open in selected cities for a limited time.

The pop-up opened in New York, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles.

The short-lived space will offer nightly events and parties such as themed dance and DJ nights, trivia, speed dating, and games. The bar will serve up six custom cocktails, all with playful names like Red Force, Blue Force, The Imperial, The Dark Side, the Galaxy and the Mindtrick.

The pop-up bars will be open until the 14th of January.
