Bourdain and Obama slurp noodles in Hanoi

CNN's Parts Unknown debuts September 25 at 8 p.m. EST/PST.

Bourdain will explore Vietnam, its food, culture and socio-economic conflicts.

The season premiere will be even special because it'll include some footage of Bourdain having lunch with president Obama at a Hanoi restaurant. The two dined on bún chả, a traditional dish of grilled pork served in a broth or dipping sauce, flanked by rice noodles and fresh herbs.

The eighth season, will also see Bourdain eating and travelling to places like Nashville, Sichuan, Rome and Houston.
