The world's best restaurant is Osteria Francescana, again

Osteria Francescana run by chef Massimo Bottura in Modena, Italy pipped last year's winner, New York's "Eleven Madison Park," in the World's 50 Best Restaurants awards, after first taking the honor in 2016. 

The top restaurants list's organisers praised "Bottura's contemporary cuisine, which challenges and reinvents Italian culinary tradition while making use of the finest produce from the Emilia-Romagna region."

One of Bottura's creations are seen in a recent video for the Times where Bottura asks "What does the perfect dish preparation sounds like?" In a soundproof room filled with microphones, the chef prepares a perfect dish — and serves it to a robot.
